"Networking for Humanity - an event to raise funds for Haiti disaster relief and raise awareness about the Sarasota Design Network and the Sarasota Construction Network"Our event will include sweets and red wine (and beer), good people, live music, and great vibe.
The main purpose of the event is to get together a group of design & construction professionals to network for business to business referrals. The event is open to the public for anyone who is seeking or considering professional services in the design and/or construction trades or is interested in viewing and perhaps purchasing art which will be on sale exclusively during this fundraiser. 25% of purchase price of artwork can be paid as a charitable donation to the Haiti relief project (read on).
SAS friend, Mike Sosadeeter is currently in Haiti, delivering supplies including shelter materials urgently needed. His efforts are helping 10 families he has know for over 20 years, and who have been directly effected by the earthquake. A suggested donation of $10 will be collected at the door, but feel welcome to make a larger, tax deductible contribution to the 501c3 nonprofit that is working with Mike.
